Mud Hens Get Dramatic 4-3 Win
|
Oscar Ellis, who is tied for 2nd in the IL with a 10.3 K/9 rate, propelled his team to victory over the Durham Bulls. The final score was 4-3, Toledo. Dylan Nash, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-2. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. Toledo has an impressive 32-13 record.
The Mud Hens got a clutch hit from catcher Austin Hedges. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Mud Hens.
"That was a backyard tug-of-war," said Mud Hens manager Yusmeiro Petit.
