Bisons Capture Close Win
The Buffalo Bisons faced a tough opponent in Gwinnett pitcher Dave Green, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Coca-Cola Field by a final score of 5-4. Green went 6.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. Buffalo is now 24-20, while Gwinnett is 19-26.

The decisive blow was delivered by Jeff Neal in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run double off 28-year old right-handed pitcher Ed Ford to win the game for Buffalo. The home crowd went nuts.

Buffalo manager Mark Budzinski commended his team for exhibiting "no shortage of effort."
