Cardny goes 4-for-5 to Light Knights Fuse
The Charlotte Knights topped the Scranton WB RailRiders, 10-5, with designated hitter Kevin Cardny playing a big role. Cardny was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for the Knights in the win. The win gives Charlotte a season record of 28-22.

Cardny contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Charlotte in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 1-0, Cardny took a fastball from Jesús Barajas and stroked the home run to left. His 2nd home run of the season allowed the Knights to leap in front, 2-1.

"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Cardny told the Charlotte Gazette.
