Enthusiastic fans came out to support the home team at Victory Field.

Starting pitcher Ben Brown fulfilled his part of the bargain, helping the Indianapolis Arrows stymie the Norfolk Tides, 4-2. Jesús Vásquez earned the save for Indianapolis.

Bob Bishop drove in one run for Indianapolis. The 22-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Dan Thompson. It was his 6th RBI of the season.

"Ben was better than good. He was sensational," said Indianapolis manager Walt Wilhelms.

The loss makes Norfolk 19-32.
