The Buffalo Bisons defeated the Gwinnett Hammers, 5-3, at Coolray Field. Leading the charge for Buffalo was third baseman José Aguilar. He was 2 for 5 with a double and a walk. With the win, Buffalo raised its record to 26-24.

Steve Johnson, who is tied for 9th in the IL in bases on balls with 23, aided the Buffalo cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the fourth. For the game, the designated hitter went 1 for 3 with a walk.
