In a low-scoring contest, Buffalo pitcher José Valenzuela was marvelous, enabling his team to nab a 2-1 win. Buffalo reliever Damion Carroll picked up the win, upping his record to 3-2. Justus Sheffield was saddled with the loss. After today's action, Buffalo sits at 26-26; Toledo slips to 27-25.

Didi Gregorius was the walk-off hero for Buffalo. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bisons shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We found a way to get it done," Gregorius said.
