The Harrisburg Senators had to reckon with Trenton Thunder hurler Juan Montalvo. Montalvo overwhelmed the opposition in the 6-1 Thunder triumph. Montalvo, the winner, moves to 4-6. He threw 7 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 4 walks. Harrisburg has now lost 8 straight.

Trenton designated hitter Steve Ogletree contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the third. With two down, he hit a curveball to left-center field for a 2-run single. It was his 58th hit of the season and put the Thunder ahead, 4-0.

"Juan was able to locate to both sides, up and down," said Trenton manager Eric Owens.
