Reid Fashions Shutout Against Trenton
It was not a good day at the plate for the Trenton Thunder. They came up empty when it mattered against New Hampshire Fisher Cats left-hander Steve Reid, who scattered 3 hits across 9 innings and held the Thunder scoreless.

"We had 3 hits so I know he wasn't completely untouchable, but he was close," Trenton manager Cody Decker said later.

Reid chalked up 11 strikeouts and no walks in the 6-0 Fisher Cats win.
