Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the Toledo Mud Hens and the Louisville Bats. Toledo won it, 2-1. Toledo starter Oscar Ellis was in command. Dylan Nash closed out the game, earning his 16th save. The Mud Hens have an impressive 43-17 record.

The Mud Hens got a big at-bat from third baseman Dave Miller. For the game, Miller was 2 for 4 with a double. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 7th double of the season gave Toledo a 2-1 lead.

"I had pretty good command out there," said Ellis.
