Buffalo registered a win at Coca-Cola Field by beating the Pawtucket Red Sox, 6-3. Pitcher Pedro Fernandez was one reason why the Bisons triumphed. Logan Webb, 4-1, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. Shelby Miller closed the door for Buffalo, picking up his 7th save of the year.

Shoba Morse helped out the Buffalo cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a 3-run home run. For the game, the first baseman was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"Really good pitchers have that ability to raise their game when they need to," said Buffalo manager Mark Budzinski.

With the win, Buffalo raised its record to 31-31.
