Mets Capture 6-3 Win at Metro Bank Park
Binghamton and Harrisburg duked it out and the Mets came out victorious.

Binghamton Mets starter Jesús Amezcha pitched a strong game against the Harrisburg Senators at Metro Bank Park, leading the Mets to victory, 6-3. Luis Lucero picked up his 1st save of the season.

Binghamton used a well-timed hit by Bob Crouch to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Mets ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

Binghamton manager Chris Tremie was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard, they played all the way through," he said.

The win has Binghamton at 21-33.
