Tides Come Up Short at Columbus, 3-2
Columbus Clippers starter Sandy Cline turned in an exceptional performance against the Norfolk Tides at Huntington Park, resulting in a Columbus win, 3-2. Cline yielded 2 runs over 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 3, and struck out 5. His record improves to 5-3. The save went to Jesus A. Sanchez, his 6th this season.

Jesús Castro helped out the Columbus cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the first baseman was 1-4.
