Fans witnessed a whale of a game between the New Orleans Zephyrs and Round Rock Express.

Round Rock wasted a solid 5.2-inning effort from starting pitcher Ken Long, losing to New Orleans, 1-0, at Zephyr Field. Raymond Rodriguez finished the game for New Orleans and earned his 2nd save.

Terence Thompson drove in one run for New Orleans. The 24-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Ken Long. It was his 2nd RBI of the season.

"We take it day by day here," said Thompson, "and today was a good one for us."

New Orleans goes to 2-0 with the win.
