The rain made it unbearable at times; nonetheless, the faithful who endured the elements enjoyed themselves.

The Nashville Sounds downed the Omaha Storm Chasers, 8-3. The hitting star was designated hitter Micheal Harden. Harden was 2-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Sounds. Omaha now is 2-3.

Early in the game, Harden had a 2-run double for Nashville. It was his 1st double of the season and put the Sounds on top, 4-2.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Steve Scarsone said.
