Reno Keeps Trending in Wrong Direction
The rain made it unbearable at times; nonetheless, the faithful who endured the elements enjoyed themselves.

El Paso third baseman Galtero Scallini had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Reno Aces, 9-1. El Paso, now 8-2, is playing great baseball to start the year.

With El Paso leading 6-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Scallini came up to bat against Reno pitcher Al Ford. Scallini hit a fastball to right for a bases-clearing double. His 1st double of the season put the Chihuahuas on top, 9-1.

"If you don't take any pitches off, you've got a chance to impact the game, and that's what we did," said El Paso skipper Andy Hayes.
