Jared Simpson led the charge as the Oklahoma City Dodgers defeated the Iowa Cubs, 7-4, in 12 innings at Principal Park. Simpson went 2 for 5 with a triple and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Iowa is now 7-8.

Simpson had a game-changing triple in the top of the 12th. On a 0-2 slider from Joe Webb, he banged a 2-run triple to left-center, giving the Dodgers a 6-4 lead. It was the 1st triple of the year for Simpson.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Simpson.
