Salt Lake third baseman Matt Davidson had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Fresno Grizzlies, 8-6. Dave Jones recorded the save, his 1st. The Grizzlies fall to 5-10.

With Salt Lake leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Davidson hit a fastball from Geoff Johnson for a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Bees ahead, 3-0.

"You look inside of the game, it's just quality approach after quality approach," said Bees manager Tom Prince.
