Grizzlies Beat Visiting Bees, 3-1

Chukchansi Park was the site of a tense game between the Salt Lake Bees and Fresno Grizzlies.
In a low-scoring tilt between the Fresno Grizzlies and the Salt Lake Bees, former first round draft pick Bubba Jones was the difference-maker. The Fresno right-hander spearheaded the 3-1 win. Jones, now 1-0, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 7, walking 4, and allowing 1 run.
Riley Unroe, who is tied for 8th in the PC in hits with 17, helped out the Fresno cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the shortstop drew 1 walk.
"What's not to like about a win?" said Jones.
With the loss, Salt Lake is 11-5.
