Rosa Excels, But Cubs Win
The Iowa Cubs spoiled a good performance by Round Rock center fielder António Rosa, bumping off Round Rock, 6-5, at Principal Park. Rosa went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Chris Hill earned the save for Iowa, his 2nd of the year. The win gives Iowa a record of 9-8.

Bob Henderson, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2021 draft, took Round Rock hurler Ken Long deep in the bottom of the fifth. His 3-run home run put the Cubs on top, 6-3. In all, Henderson had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
