The Round Rock Express beat the Iowa Cubs, 6-4, at Principal Park. Round Rock first baseman Andy Ryan had an outstanding performance. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. With the loss, Iowa is 9-9.

Ryan had a game-changing double in the top of the seventh. On a first pitch fastball from Dave Davis, he banged a 2-run double to left, giving the Express a 6-4 lead. It was the 5th double of the year for Ryan.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Round Rock manager Ben Petrick.
