Storm Chasers Squelch Cubs Offense in Shutout Win
The Omaha Storm Chasers got a marvelous performance from pitcher Duane Bradley. The right-hander kept the Iowa offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 4-0 Omaha victory at Werner Park. Omaha goes to 12-10.

Omaha center fielder Ken Hodge contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the first. With two down, he hit a cutter to right-center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 12th hit of the season and put the Storm Chasers ahead, 2-0.

"The effort we put into this one paid off," Hodge said.
