Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the New Orleans Zephyrs and the Oklahoma City Dodgers. New Orleans won it, 2-0. New Orleans starter Ignacio Fulgham was in command. Raymond Rodriguez picked up the save for New Orleans, his 11th of the year. At 15-9, the Zephyrs have played well so far.

With two out in the top of the third, Augusto Espinoza put New Orleans in front, 1-0, with a run-scoring single. The Zephyrs went on to win the ballgame.

"It was just a matter of executing," said New Orleans manager Jody Reed.
