Fans watched the Iowa Cubs and the Omaha Storm Chasers fight to the finish.

Iowa center fielder Eric Stewart had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Omaha Storm Chasers, 8-7. With the win, Iowa climbs to 12-12.

Stewart contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Iowa in the top of the ninth. With his team trailing 7-6, Stewart took a slider from Stan Spencer and stroked the home run to right-center. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the Cubs to leap in front, 8-7.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Stewart told the Iowa Chronicle.
