The Omaha Storm Chasers picked up a win at Werner Park, knocking off the Round Rock Express, 4-3. On the mound for Omaha was right-hander Ramon A. Martinez. He played a key role in the triumph. Martinez picked up the win for Omaha, going 6.1 innings. He gave up no runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 3-2. Round Rock drops to 17-11.

Omaha left fielder Zak Phillips contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With two down, he hit a slider to left-center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 20th hit of the season and put the Storm Chasers ahead, 4-0.
