Behind an impressive start by Kevin Hunt, Nashville beat Iowa, 3-2. The second-place Sounds have won 6 consecutive games.

Had Willie Harris not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Harris hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Sounds.

"I thought Kevin threw the ball well across the board," said Nashville manager Steve Scarsone.
