The Nashville Sounds could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Travis Radke into a win. Instead, the Colorado Springs Sky Sox prevailed, 7-5. Radke threw 8.1 innings of 7-hit ball. Tommy Booth, 1-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 2.2 innings. Ken Greenwood closed the game out for Colorado Springs, earning his 3rd save.

Mike Stokes delivered a big hit for Colorado Springs. The pinch hitter drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Sky Sox ahead, 7-5. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.

"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," Stokes told the Colorado Springs Daily.
