Bees Deal Tacoma 4-0 Defeat
|
Salt Lake used a superb performance from starting pitcher Mike Hess to down the Tacoma Rainiers, 4-0. Hess, now 2-1, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 4, walking 2, and allowing no runs. The win gives the Bees a record of 10-23.
Jesús Cabrera helped out the Salt Lake cause in the bottom of the second inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the second baseman was 1-2 with a walk.
"We're just going to try to build off this win," said Cabrera.
