51s Suffer One-Run Loss at Reno
The Reno Aces beat the Las Vegas 51s, 6-5, at Aces Ballpark. The win was due in part to right fielder Ron Porter, who went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win makes Reno 7-26, nothing to write home about.

With Reno leading 5-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Porter hit a run-scoring single off Las Vegas hurler Dave Mata. It was the 26th hit of the season for Porter and put his team ahead, 6-1.

"They beat us fair and square," Las Vegas skipper Nelson Paulino said.
