Loss to Storm Chasers Extends Las Vegas Losing Streak
Omaha right-hander Rob Armstrong helped his team edge Las Vegas by the score of 3-2. Armstrong kept the opposing lineup in check. Armstrong yielded 2 runs over 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 1, and struck out 7. His record improves to 2-3. Randy Richey notched his 1st save of the season.

Omaha used the timely hitting of Cliff Jones to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Storm Chasers ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"We're going through a bad spell," said Las Vegas manager Nelson Paulino.

The losses continue to add up for Las Vegas, having now dropped 11 straight.
