Petersen Hits Two Dingers, Grizzlies Win, 5-3
The Grizzlies kept their hot streak going.

Bob Petersen was instrumental in his team's 5-3 triumph over the Albuquerque Isotopes. The first baseman hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Fresno Grizzlies. Picking up the save was Jed Maxharraj, his 7th.

Petersen had a timely hit for Fresno in the top of the ninth. With Fresno trailing 3-2, he turned a 1-0 fastball into a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season, making it 5-3, Fresno.

"Bob is still learning," said Grizzlies manager Kevin Cash. "The sky's the limit for him."

With the win, Fresno upped its record to 20-15.
