The Albuquerque Isotopes beat the Tacoma Rainiers, 7-3, at Cheney Stadium. Marc Davis went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The 27-year old first baseman was a menace to Tacoma all day. With the win, the Isotopes are 13-25.

Albuquerque third baseman Kip Fletcher helped his team get ahead early. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he hit a sacrifice fly.

"I really like what we did out there today," Fletcher said after the game.
