Isotopes 3-2 Winners Versus Tacoma
|
Albuquerque Isotopes starter Geoffrey Lindsey turned in a top-notch performance against the Tacoma Rainiers at Cheney Stadium. The result was a win for the Isotopes, 3-2. The winning pitcher was Lindsey, now 1-5. He tossed 6 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 4. Milo Sykes closed the game out for Albuquerque, earning his 9th save.
Tim Stevenson, who is tied for 2nd in the AC in RBI with 24, had a direct impact on the outcome. Stevenson contributed a 2-run single in the top of the third inning to put Albuquerque up, 2-1.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Lindsey.
The win puts Albuquerque at 15-26.
