The home team gave the crowd some walk-off drama.

Despite a great performance by Tacoma first baseman Scooter Gennett, the Omaha Storm Chasers defeated the Rainiers by the score of 8-7 at Werner Park. Gennett went 2 for 4 with a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. With the victory, the Storm Chasers upped their record to 24-18.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Omaha. That's when Dan Overstreet, who is tied for 6th in the AC in bases on balls with 18, hit a 2-run double off Robbie Jones to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"It's great when the crowd is energized," Overstreet said.
