Salt Lake third baseman Matt Davidson had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 8-6, to Nashville at Herschel Greer Stadium. Davidson was 3-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The save went to Rémi Blondel, number 11 for him. Salt Lake's current losing streak is now 4 games.

The Bees had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Sounds going into the bottom of the seventh inning. That changed quickly when the 26-year old right fielder Jonathan Amundaray came to the plate. Amundaray hit a 2-run double on a 0-1 fastball from Salt Lake hurler Mauro Salazar. It was Amundaray's 4th double of the year.

Afterward, Salt Lake manager Tom Prince said: "We've hit a rough patch."
