Wilson hits 2 home runs to Light Zephyrs Fuse
The New Orleans Zephyrs welcomed the Las Vegas 51s to an afternoon game at Zephyr Field.

Behind the hitting of Jerry Wilson, the New Orleans Zephyrs stopped the Las Vegas 51s, 10-3. Wilson hit 2 home runs. He scored 4 runs and drove in 5 for the Zephyrs. Ignacio Fulgham earned the win, while 23-year old right-handed pitcher Dave Mata took the loss for Las Vegas.

With New Orleans leading 5-2 in the bottom of the fourth, Wilson hit a changeup from Dave Mata for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Zephyrs ahead, 8-2.

"There's a lot of good karma around our club," said winning manager Jody Reed.

New Orleans has now won 7 in a row.
