The Reno Aces spoiled a good performance by Oklahoma City catcher Jose Herrera, bumping off Oklahoma City, 7-5, at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Herrera was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Earning his 10th save of the year was Don Forrest. With the win over Oklahoma City, the Aces improved to 19-26.

Sean Vaughan was 1-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI for Reno. The 24-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 5-5 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Alex Durham. It was his 18th RBI of the season.

"Nice win for us," said Vaughan. "Now we'll go after the next one."
