Oklahoma City right fielder Alex Verdugo made his presence felt in the 12-7 Dodgers triumph over the El Paso Chihuahuas. Verdugo was 3-4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 6. At 23-23, Oklahoma City is in second place in the American Conference South Division.

Oklahoma City used a clutch at-bat from Chris Sullivan to capture the win. The catcher hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the first inning to put the Dodgers ahead, 6-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Verdugo told the Oklahoma City Herald.
