Bees Pick Up 5-2 Win Against Round Rock
|
Salt Lake beat Round Rock on the strength of starting pitcher Greg Emery's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-2. Salt Lake is now 18-31.
Luis Costaneda, who is tied for 2nd in the PC in extra base hits with 17, helped out the Salt Lake cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the right fielder went 2-4 with a double and a walk.
Costaneda called the win "a collective effort."
