Storm Chasers Stumble, Losing to Isotopes, 7-2
The Albuquerque Isotopes rode a solid performance from 27-year-old starting pitcher Gene Blevins to a win, beating the Omaha Storm Chasers, 7-2, at Werner Park. The Isotopes have now reeled off 6 straight wins.

Raúl Flores was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Albuquerque. The 25-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the top of the second. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Eric Hammers. It was his 11th RBI of the season.

"Gene has got a slow heartbeat," said Albuquerque manager Matt Merullo. "He doesn't panic or anything."
