Sounds Absorb 13-1 Drubbing
|
Oklahoma City played host to Nashville at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
The Oklahoma City Dodgers got production up and down the lineup while beating the Nashville Sounds, 13-1. One standout was first baseman Norberto Zavala. Zavala, who is tied for 5th in the AC in home runs with 5, went 3-4 with 2 doubles and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. The second-place Sounds have dropped 4 straight games.
The Dodgers picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
Nashville manager Steve Scarsone summed up his team's performance in one word: "Pitiful."
