|
Salt Lake Bees starter Mauro Salazar pitched well against the Reno Aces at Smith's Ballpark, leading his team to a win, 5-2. Salt Lake has now won 4 games in a row.
Salt Lake took a 4-2 lead on Luis Costaneda's 2nd triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which Costaneda hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Reno pitcher Ramon A. Martinez visibly frustrated.
"Main thing is I want the team to win," Salazar told a reporter after the game. "Just have to go out there, take care of my job, and give my team a chance to win."
