Omaha Stopped, 3-2, by Albuquerque
|
Albuquerque turned a good effort from starter Josh Riddle into a win over the Omaha Storm Chasers at Werner Park. The Isotopes won the game, 3-2. Zander Hughes picked up the save, his 4th. With the win, Albuquerque pushed its record to 30-25.
The Isotopes got a big at-bat from designated hitter Franklin Reyes. For the game, Reyes went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 10th home run of the season gave Albuquerque a 2-0 lead.
"I like the grit of this ballclub," Reyes said.
