Bees Come Up Short at Reno, 4-3
Reno starter Joe Bernard pitched effectively against the Salt Lake Bees at Aces Ballpark. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. The triumph makes Reno 16-41.

The Aces got a big at-bat from second baseman Denver Huffman. For the game, Huffman went 2-4 with a triple and a double. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 3rd triple of the season gave Reno a 4-3 lead.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Reno manager Ruben Niebla. "It's usually not just one thing."
