Zephyrs 10-8 Winners Versus Round Rock
Round Rock catcher Andy Roberts had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 10-8, to New Orleans at Zephyr Field. Roberts was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Reliever Dan Barton picked up the win. His record improves to 3-2. António Ríos took the loss. Getting the save was Joe Ward, his 2nd.

Darrell Taylor chipped in for New Orleans, stroking a crucial run-scoring single in the bottom of the seventh inning. For the game, the right fielder went 1-5.

"This is truly a great team to play with," Taylor said after the game. "We're like brothers, and when we come together to pull out the win, that just makes it all the better."

The Zephyrs improved their record to 37-21 with the win over Round Rock.
