Storm Chasers Rack Up 9-3 Win Versus Oklahoma City
|
Storm Chasers shortstop Edwin Wolf put his stamp on his team's 9-3 win over the Oklahoma City Dodgers. Wolf was 4 for 5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Omaha in the contest. Esteban Muñóz was the winning pitcher. Over 5.2 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 11 hits, with no walks and 8 strikeouts. Steve Wilson finished to wrap up his 1st save.
An inflection point occurred with no one out in the bottom of the second. That's when Storm Chasers catcher Juan Centeno hit a cutter from Blake Snell for a 2-run single. Just like that, Omaha was up, 2-1.
