Redbirds Earn Late 7-6 Win
The Memphis Redbirds found a way to sneak past the Iowa Cubs, 7-6, in 13 innings. Memphis pitcher Joe Cameron, for one, had a standout performance. With the win over Iowa, the Redbirds improved to 26-32.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 13th inning, when Memphis left fielder Alfredo Martínez, facing Ken Wilkinson, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Redbirds the 7-6 win.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Martínez said.
