Good production from first baseman Leon O'Tomalty helped the El Paso Chihuahuas topple the Tacoma Rainiers, 4-3. O'Tomalty was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Chihuahuas. Don Scott earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. He upped his record to 3-3. El Paso goes to 37-22. The win puts them 12½ games up in their division.
Andy Wilson delivered a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 11th to win it for the Chihuahuas. For the game, Wilson drew 2 walks in 5 plate appearances.
