Spirited fans greeted the Omaha Storm Chasers for their clash with the Oklahoma City Dodgers.

Oklahoma City ruined an otherwise fine effort from Ramon A. Martinez by toppling Omaha, 5-2. The Omaha pitcher threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball. Sam Scott closed the game out for Oklahoma City, earning his 9th save.

It could have been a different outcome for Oklahoma City, had it not been for Abiatal Avelino, the 31-year old second baseman . Avelino contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the ninth inning to put Oklahoma City up, 3-2.

"Feels good to get the job done," Avelino said after the game.

Oklahoma City now has a record of 34-25 with the win.
