River Cats Squelch Aces Offense in Shutout Win
In a low-scoring affair between the Sacramento River Cats and the Reno Aces, pitcher Jeremiah Searle was the difference between victory and defeat. The Sacramento right-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-0 River Cats win. The save went to Chris Quirke, his 9th this season. The River Cats raised their record to 36-28.

Sacramento took the lead, 3-0, on Eugenio Rosales's 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Reno pitcher Theron Chapman in the top of the ninth.

Searle attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
