RailRiders Earn Win with Late Rally
|
Scranton WB starter Luis Fuentes pitched well against the Buffalo Bisons at PNC Field. The right-hander led his team to a win, 2-1. The winner was Jim Hagler in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Jose Nova took the loss. The RailRiders, now 6-2, have been playing some good baseball.
Robbie Lambright was the walk-off hero for Scranton WB. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the RailRiders pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"It's so much easier when you throw good pitches," said Fuentes.
